Creativity, Collaboration, and Leadership

In 2024, as the head of D4CL (Design for Content & Lifecycle) at Sinch, I guided a talented design team through a dynamic year of creativity and growth. Our team was a cornerstone of the larger Content & Lifecycle organization, which brought together expertise in content, lifecycle marketing, localization, and social media. My role required constant alignment and collaboration—not only within our immediate group but also with the Brand and Digital design teams and their leaders in the broader marketing organization. Together, we ensured that our creative efforts resonated across a portfolio of key brands, including Sinch, Engage, MessageMedia, Mailgun, and Mailjet, while also supporting brands like SimpleTexting and Email on Acid.

Managing the D4CL team involved more than overseeing projects—I was deeply engaged in organizing workflows, optimizing pipelines, and prioritizing workloads to ensure seamless delivery across a variety of projects. From producing engaging blog graphics and in-product assets for lifecycle campaigns to creating visually compelling long-form content such as case studies, guides, and eBooks, the team’s output reflected both strategic alignment and high-quality execution. Among our standout achievements was the "State of Email Deliverability 2025" report for Mailgun, a comprehensive project that involved designing a visually stunning 70-page PDF as well as an online version with interactive charts. This cross-team effort showcased our ability to combine meticulous design with collaborative execution on a global scale.

Beyond project delivery, I prioritized fostering a supportive and innovative team environment. By mentoring junior team members and streamlining processes through the implementation of advanced workflows in Asana, I helped elevate the team’s efficiency and creativity. My collaborative approach extended to managing relationships with external agencies and freelancers, ensuring that external resources complemented our internal strengths. Through these efforts, I positioned D4CL not just as a productive design team but as a strategic partner within the larger marketing organization, delivering work that advanced both brand impact and business goals.
